I’m really let down by how my latest order, #53153, was handled. I made the purchase on January 20 and opted for Royal Mail Tracked 24 delivery, thinking it would show up by January 24 at the latest. But all I got was an email saying it was dispatched on January 25, which was five days after I ordered it.

Awesome site packed with gift options! I was on the hunt for a gift for my Mum, and it was tough to pick from all the tempting products! The chocolate arrived fast, and my Mum really enjoyed the gift card that came with it. Totally recommend.

I placed my order four days back. I paid for delivery, which claimed to ship out the same day (if ordered before 2 PM). I made my order after 2 PM on Wednesday the 10th, so it was supposed to ship on Thursday. But here we are, Friday came and went with no updates, and now it’s Sunday... still nothing. There’s no phone number to reach out to, and no online chat available. Why even promote that shipping time? I’m gonna want a refund for the delivery fee when it finally shows up (I needed this for a birthday gift, so it’s pretty frustrating).
Update: (Monday the 15th) at 1:15 PM: finally got a dispatch notice.
I shot an email to customer service yesterday, but still waiting on a response.

I had an awesome experience with my recent order from Love Cocoa. I was on the hunt for a gift for my Granny and stumbled upon Love Cocoa after some searching online. Their variety of products really caught my eye, plus I loved the tree planting initiative. The delivery was quick, everything was nicely packaged, and my Granny was over the moon with the chocolates, saying they were gorgeous and tasted fantastic.

This place has the best chocolate, it’s super tasty. I’ve gifted some bars and truffles as presents, and folks always appreciate them. Just placed a big order for Christmas as well. Plus, they use eco-friendly packaging and plant a tree for every box or bar sold!

Delicious flavors and packaging that’s both chic and fun. I sampled a few bars and the gin truffles as well. Totally recommend everything! I appreciate their tree-planting initiative and solid environmental values too (the ‘plastic’ is compostable and the rest is cardboard).

By the way, those salted caramel good eggs are the best thing ever, no joke!

This chocolate is just okay. I really dislike the misleading claims about being plastic-free. It's made from cellulose-based plastic, which is still plastic, you know?

Many times, the so-called "gourmet" chocolates you find online can be way too pricey. However, Love Cocoa offers pretty fair prices, especially for those one-time gifts and whatnot. I got lucky since there was a sale happening, allowing me to snag some awesome gin-themed goodies for my friend's birthday at a fantastic price.

I had them sent straight to her place. Since it was during the heatwave in July, I got notified that shipping was a bit slow to prevent any melting; thankfully, I ordered early enough, and they made it just in time for her special day. She was over the moon.

It's easy to overlook how important updates and communication from businesses are, but I really appreciated being kept in the loop. I’d definitely think about shopping at Love Cocoa again.

Absolutely fantastic chocolate! No palm oil, no slavery, single-origin, sustainable, and eco-friendly packaging to top it all off! The wrapping is quite lovely, and it even shares info about the company's environmental efforts. I really wish more chocolate brands would follow this path of ethical production. Definitely recommend!

I ordered this online to give the service and product a shot. It showed up pretty quickly in a flexible card wallet. Unfortunately, one of the bars was broken during shipping, so I have my doubts about the packaging used. The product itself was fine, but the chocolate didn’t have any standout qualities. However, the addition of roasted and crushed coffee beans really made a difference, and I found the coffee-flavored bar quite enjoyable thanks to those beans. There are certain chocolate brands that you can identify just by their taste, which is definitely a plus. Given the premium price, I’d expect better packaging for online purchases. I’d consider buying it again if I spot the coffee-flavored bar at a local shop.

Disappointing experience for a holiday present.

I ordered a subscription gift in December, hoping it would be a nice surprise for someone during the holidays. I thought LC would reach out to the recipient to kick off the subscription or at least hold off until January, like most subscription services do (I've dealt with a few lately). Instead, LC shipped the order right away.

This totally messed up my gift, which is super frustrating and disappointing. Plus, they didn’t provide anything for me to print out for the recipient.

Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this company again. They weren’t helpful at all when I tried to sort this out or offer any alternatives—once the order was sent, that was the end of it. If you’re after a subscription gift and decent customer service, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

This chocolate is a real letdown - I'm quite bummed out. I thought James Cadbury would deliver something better, but honestly, it doesn't even compare to Dairy Milk (which has gone downhill lately).
